Catering Shopping- Selfridges Food Hall
https://www.selfridges.com/US/en/cat/foodhall/food/
Address: Selfridges & Co, 400 Oxford Street, London, W1A 1AB
I have to admit – I am Team “death to the snack basket in the cabin“. As I personally think snacks should be decanted into a prettier vessel and served nicely alongside a napkin. However, I think it works for some people and some passengers really do enjoy having snacks within their reach, so if that’s the case then this is where you should be getting your snacks to fill the basket.
Imagine: curated flavored gourmet nuts, the best Macarons from Perre Hermè, well packaged chocolate varieties, saltiness, sweetness, all of the goodies.
overall, a really fabulous place to shop for your plane and get some inspiration
Pro tip: Anytime you are flying women onboard, pick up a small box of Macarons for them as a parting favor when they deplane. If you’re flying men? Still pick up a small box and gift it to them upon disembarking saying “For you to enjoy or give to someone you love”.

Harrods is just Harrods, it is the end all be all of luxury shopping and they happen to have a food hall. It is exquisite beyond measure, their pastries are ALMOST too pretty to eat. Key word being ALMOST.
Ole & Steen

Address: unit 1, 71-73 Wigmore St, Marylebone, London W1U 1QA, UK
This just so happens to be conveniently located next to Selfridges. If you procure your catering from beloved local spots like this, and engage in the story of how special and popular an item like these croissants are with your guests, I promise you they will enjoy it and eat with an entirely new appreciation.
Also, don’t be afraid to print out a food critic article praising the location where you sourced your catering from,
The goal is to try to make it as experience driven as possible and not just a nameless little pastry sitting in front of them for breakfast

This place is adoringly nicknamed “London’s bread”, do I really need to explain much further? However, I will drop the hint, Apricot bread babes.
